1. Service Description
AudiFlo is a text-to-speech reader application for PDFs, EPUBs, and text documents, offering multi-voice playback, bookmarks, highlights, reading progress, optional cloud sync for settings via Firebase, full offline functionality with local storage, and no content hosting or distribution by AudiFlo.
Important: AudiFlo does not host, store, or distribute reading content. Users import and store their documents locally.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years of age to use AudiFlo. If under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You meet the minimum age requirement.
- You have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.
- All information you provide is accurate and truthful.
We may raise the minimum age to 16+ if new content features are introduced.
3. Account and Authentication
AudiFlo uses Google Sign-In. You must provide accurate Google account info, safeguard your device and credentials, notify support@zrota.us of unauthorized access, use one account per Google identity, and not share credentials. Accounts violating these Terms may be suspended or terminated.
4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You Must:
- Import only content you legally own or have rights to access.
- Respect copyright and use AudiFlo for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Maintain device and account security and follow applicable laws.
You Must NOT:
- Import or process pirated/illegal content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or tamper with AudiFlo.
- Harass, abuse, or harm others; bypass or disable security controls.
- Commercially redistribute copyrighted material processed through AudiFlo.
- Create fraudulent accounts, impersonate others, or use bots/scripts/scrapers.
- Disrupt or overload services; engage in illegal activity including fraud or money laundering.
- Remove or alter proprietary notices in the app.
5. Content and Copyright
Your Content
- You own all content you import; no ownership is claimed by AudiFlo.
- You grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process content solely for TTS playback, ending when you delete content or uninstall.
- We do not access, store, or upload your documents to our servers.
Copyright Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring rights to any imported content (books, subscription content, library items, etc.).
Copyright Infringement Notice: Email support@zrota.us with proof of ownership, description of infringing material, and contact info. We may terminate offending accounts.
AudiFlo Intellectual Property
- App design, branding, logo, and proprietary tech belong to ZrotA.
- You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable personal-use license.
- Third-party libraries and system TTS engines remain their owners’ property; open-source components follow their licenses.
6. Cloud Sync and Data Storage
Optional Cloud Sync: Disabled by default; syncs only preferences/settings/config (not reading content); requires Google Sign-In; can be disabled anytime.
What We Sync: Settings, UI options, TTS voice selections, theme preferences.
What We DO NOT Sync: Imported documents, reading content, or file contents/metadata beyond app settings.
Data Storage Location: Firebase servers (various regions) with industry-standard security.
Local Storage: Reading content stays on-device using secure storage; not transmitted to our servers.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Cloud Data: Retained while account is active; deleted within 30 days after request or account deletion.
Delete Your Data: Use “Delete Account” in settings or email support@zrota.us with your account email.
Local Data: Stays on your device until you delete it; uninstalling removes local data; not recoverable after uninstall.
Backup: You are responsible for backups; we are not liable for data loss.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Data Collected (when signed in): Email (auth), Name (optional), anonymized app interactions, crash logs.
Data NOT Collected: Location, financial, health info, extra device identifiers, or your reading content.
Security: TLS/SSL in transit; sensitive local data encrypted at rest; Google Play data safety compliance.
Your Rights: Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR), you may access, delete, port, or correct data—contact support@zrota.us.

9. Prohibited Uses
No use for copyright infringement, illegal activities, malware, harassment, impersonation, service disruption, commercial exploitation, security bypass, automated abuse, or fraud. Violations may lead to termination and legal action.
10. Advertisements
Ad Delivery: The App may display third-party advertisements (via Google AdMob) to support its free availability.
Content: We do not control the specific content of third-party ads.
Interaction: Any interaction with ads is at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for third-party products or services advertised.
Frequency: We strive to keep ads non-intrusive (e.g., showing ads only between chapters), but we reserve the right to adjust ad frequency.
11. Payments and Refunds
AudiFlo is currently free. If paid features launch later, pricing will be disclosed; payments via Google Play; refunds per Google Play policy; changes will be communicated in advance.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
AUDIFLO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted/error-free operation, or accuracy/completeness of results.
Specific: TTS quality depends on device engines; PDF/EPUB parsing may miss complex layouts; third-party dependencies may fail; compatibility not guaranteed across all devices; data loss is possible; background playback may impact battery/performance.
13. Limitation of Liability
No Indirect Damages: No liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages, or loss of profits/data/goodwill.
Cap: Liability limited to amount paid in prior 12 months; since AudiFlo is free, liability is capped at INR 1,000 or equivalent local currency.
Exclusions: Not liable for data loss, third-party TTS performance, user copyright violations, user breaches, rooted devices, network issues, or battery/performance impacts. Some jurisdictions may limit these exclusions.
14. Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZrotA/AudiFlo and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and attorney fees arising from your use, your violation of Terms/law, third-party rights violations, content you process, account/device security issues, or false information. We may assume defense; you must cooperate. Obligation survives termination.
15. Termination
Your Right: Uninstall, sign out/disable sync, or request account deletion via support@zrota.us.
Our Right: We may suspend/terminate for violations, illegal/harmful activity, abuse, security bypass, legal orders, or service discontinuation.
Effects: License ends; access revoked; local data stays until you delete; cloud data deleted per retention (within 30 days); survival applies to certain sections.
16. Updates and Modifications
We may release updates (features, fixes, security, compatibility). Some updates may be mandatory. We may modify Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or email; continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using and request deletion.
17. Dispute Resolution
Informal First: Contact support@zrota.us with a description, account info, and desired resolution. We respond within 15 business days and work in good faith.
Binding Arbitration: If unresolved, disputes go to binding arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Guwahati, Assam, India, in English, before one neutral arbitrator. Costs split unless decided otherwise; award is final and enforceable.
Exceptions: IP injunctive relief, small claims, and emergency relief may proceed in court.
Class Action Waiver: Disputes resolved individually; no class actions or class arbitrations.
Opt-Out: You may opt out within 30 days of first acceptance by emailing support@zrota.us with your name, email, and opt-out statement.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and use of AudiFlo are governed by the laws of India. Subject to arbitration above, courts in Guwahati, Assam, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Users outside India must comply with local laws.
19. International Use and Export Compliance
You must comply with local laws, not use AudiFlo where prohibited, and follow export control/trade sanctions laws.

21. Accessibility and Non-Discrimination
AudiFlo supports Android accessibility features, screen readers, and customizable text/audio settings. Report barriers to support@zrota.us.
22. Severability
If any provision is invalid/unenforceable, it will be modified minimally or severed; remaining terms continue in effect.
23. Waiver
Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver unless in writing. No waiver is continuing or of other terms.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement, superseding all prior understandings or communications.
25. Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without consent. We may assign freely, including to affiliates or in mergers/acquisitions.
26. Force Majeure
No liability for delays/failures due to events beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, war/terrorism/civil unrest, government actions, telecom/Internet failures, third-party outages (Firebase/Google), pandemics, or similar events.

29. Open Source Acknowledgments
AudiFlo uses: Firebase SDK (Apache 2.0), Google Sign-In (Google APIs TOS), Android TTS APIs (AOSP License), and other libraries under their respective licenses. Full license texts are available in-app under Settings > About > Open Source Licenses.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AudiFlo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use AudiFlo.
